boats on Eday to launch at the pier.

*Heritage and Visitor Centre.

*A Marshalling yard and storage shed to allow the community and local shop better facilities.

*Eday Partnership proceeded to set up a trading subsidiary, Eday Renewable Energy.

In 2003 Eday was allocated under the, then, Scottish Executive’s Initiative-at-the-Edge Programme as a socially and economically fragile area, this enabled Eday Partnership to be formed in 2004.
Through community consultation the first Eday Development Plan 2004 was formatted and published, and many projects were completed...
